Day one — 3 steps
- 1Make a pump.fun account (my link below) and fund a small amount you can lose.
- 2Follow the public book.
- 3Read Today. If it says SKIP, do nothing.
That’s onboarding. Nothing else day one.

How to tap, the simple way
- Follow the public book only
- First tap only (skip adds unless labeled)
- Tiny size (in dollars, below)
- Match the CA before you tap — names get copied
- If it’s already running past the shelf, don’t tap
- Can’t watch? Pause: mute #setups and come back later
You will often be a little red right after a tap (fee + being second). That’s the late fill. If you can’t sit that, pause.
How much, in dollars
Tiny means 1–2% of your trading money. Only money you can lose.
- $100 to trade with
- $1–2 a tap
- $500 to trade with
- $5–10 a tap
- $1,000 to trade with
- $10–20 a tap
My size isn’t your size. Don’t match it.
Your first tap will look red
Example: you tap $10 a minute after me. There’s a fee, and you paid a bit more than I did. It can read −$0.40 (−4%) right away. That’s the late fill, and it’s normal.
